SIMI VALLEY, CA – The Simi Valley Police Officers Association (POA) has officially endorsed Dorina Timbol in her bid for Simi Valley School Board Trustee, citing her extensive experience in community service and youth education as key factors in their decision.
The endorsement highlights Timbol’s leadership in several community initiatives, including the Youth Empowerment Summit, a program she founded that provides essential life skills and mentorship to local teens. Timbol recently served as the Executive Director of a prominent youth-focused nonprofit, a role in which she was recognized as California Nonprofit of the Year by the California State Assembly. Her other accolades include the 2020 Youth Champion Award from the Boys and Girls Club of Moorpark/Simi Valley and the 2019 Small Business of the Year Award from California Assemblywoman Christy Smith.
